About three years after my kidney transplant, I figured out that I really wanted to be an Artist. That was 19 years ago. Until disability caught up to me in 1995 I worked. In 1995 my thrice rebuilt hips sat me down. I had lots of time on my hands. I developed a manner of stitching as a way to pass the time; it was easy and didn't make that much of a mess.

What you will see here are some of my recent works. The photos are as good as I can get at this time. They don't show the texture of the pieces, the colours are close.

Like a lot of people, I don't care much for pictures of myself.

, In my garden I have a garlic chive weed problem. I thought about weeding them out before they could go to seed this year. I went out to crop them and found them covered in honey bees. I gave the bees a break and amused myself with the thought that some bee keeper would find his honey tasting like garlic.

The flowers of the chives made such a wounderful pattern though that I took some pictures and thought to make a quick stitchery inbetween Stevia and a sculpture that I had planed to do. As I got into the Chive G stitchery I discovered that I was getting some good texturing going. Once I discovered the texturing, I found that I had two ideas, running in my mind for the stitchery. I decided to make the texturing the important focus of this work and plan on doing another one sometime in the future that will be more centered around the other idea that was going.
