With the body completed to a point, I had to finalise how to do the wings. I decided to put four wings on Attila. In the time I spent watching the critters from my porch this summer, I found myself confronted by the translusent nature of the wings in motion. Several methods to try to show this occured to me. It boiled down to two ways that might work. One way was use the front wing structure as the top of (for lack of a more discriptive term) a tent. Thus there would be a solid single wing. I went with my other option of four wings. And I did think fancifully of useing six wings. As it was, the difficulty of the four wings was enough for this particular piece. |

Yep; The picture is dark. If you look closely though you can see how the smaller wings are almost done. I will get a brighter picture soon. |
