12-7-00
About 7 more hours of stitching had gotten me to this point on Pearl Harbor Day |

12-9-00 I had to process this picture a bit. When you are working with six shades of white, you can't expect to get much differentation among them with a flash. Anyway, this is two more days of intense stitching gone by. I had started to put on the blue of the sky and had the presense of mind to check the color against the other stitchery (whose colors I am kind of trying to match) and discovered I had wasted a couple of hours by putting on a shade too dark for the background sky (drat). I had to take out the stitches, and wait a day before I could get back to stitching. |
